Dr Luca Piombino is a specialist in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. His practice in Italy is primarily based between Rome and Milan. From a young age, he was immersed in the world of plastic surgery due to the influence of his father, a renowned plastic surgeon. This family environment fuelled his passion and represents the core of his professional dedication to this discipline.
Following his degree in Medicine and Surgery, Dr Piombino obtained a specialisation in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery from the Università Campus Bio-Medico of Rome. He expanded his skills in the United States, initially completing a training course, and subsequently holding the role of Research Associate at the University of California, Irvine. Furthermore, he completed a significant period of training at the Castex Hospital in Argentina.
Particularly passionate about paediatric plastic surgery, he served for several years at the Bambino Gesù Paediatric Hospital. Today, Dr Piombino dedicates himself exclusively to reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery as a freelance professional, earning international recognition for his expertise in breast, abdominal, and facial procedures. He collaborates as a consultant with several international clinics, including facilities in The Hague, Netherlands, and Kuwait City. Furthermore, he continues his collaborative research activities with eminent colleagues in the United States and Europe.
His humanitarian commitment has led him to participate in international surgical missions, where he has performed operations to correct congenital malformations. He is the author of numerous scientific publications and is often invited to speak at national and international congresses.
Dr. Piombino is also a fervent advocate of technological innovations, expertly applying the most advanced technologies in the aesthetic and reconstructive fields. He has performed thousands of surgical procedures, solidifying his reputation as one of the leaders in the sector.
In recent years, his passion for regenerative medicine, encompassing both reconstructive and aesthetic applications, has driven him to delve into the world of longevity and precision medicine. These interests have become cornerstones of his daily practice, with a strong focus on physical and aesthetic prevention, as well as the maintenance of natural beauty.
